With 640×512 or 320×256 resolution and a weight of just 7.5 grams, the Boson packs powerful thermal imaging into a tiny package. It runs on as little as 500 mW and takes a wide range of lenses, from a 95° wide angle down to a narrow 4° field of view. Need better sensitivity? Boson+ is a plug-and-play upgrade of the same platform with sensitivity under 20 mK.
UNIT · BOSON-320-640The Boson longwave infrared OEM camera module sets the standard for size, weight, and power. The uncooled detector comes in two resolutions with multiple frame rate options and the widest range of lens configurations in Teledyne FLIR's LWIR lineup. MTech customers integrate it into satellites and Earth-observation payloads, stratospheric platforms, unmanned aircraft for search-and-rescue and agriculture, vehicle-mounted night-driving systems, and long-endurance wildlife observation.
All Boson models share electrical compatibility, so an integration built around one configuration is plug-and-play with the rest of the family, including the higher-sensitivity Boson+.
